| Transition to Version 1.3
At the end of Fall 2024, we will transition to LTI 1.3. There are several benefits to upgrating to LTI 1.3, including:
- Student rosters from Canvas and scores from Perusall will sync without a manual push.
- You can create individual assignment links, called "deep links" in LTI 1.3, which point to particular Perusall assignments even when the link and assigments do not have matching names.
- Additionally, deep links are automatically created in Canvas as you create Perusal assigments.
More information about the updates in version 1.3 can be found in the following guide, What's the difference between 1.1 & 1.3?
| Bypass "Student Cost"
The Perusall integration is free of cost, but you will need to select the "$0" option to ensure your student do not receive a charge for using this platform.
Please disregard any Persuall messaging around institutional licensing. If you would like for a tool to be considered for purchasing, please submit a request.
