Pronto is a communication tool within Canvas that allows students to connect via real-time chat, video, and announcements.Pronto can be enabled for your entire course and groups within your course, which can help create a sense of belonging for students, allowing them to communicate in multiple ways.
How to Access
| Global Navigation
Pronto can be accessed from the Global Navigation menu but must first be enabled via the Pronto activation link. After you've enabled it, access Pronto from the Global Navigation menu on Canvas's left-hand side. The Pronto icon will only appear on your Canvas Navigation menu, if you are assigned to at least one published Canvas course with at least one enrolled student.
