Application Overview

The Omnissa Horizon (formerly VMWare Horizon) platform replicates the experience of on-campus computer labs by allowing users to launch full desktop applications, including software for STEM, design, business, and computer science courses without requiring local installation.

Through a secure virtual connection, users can work with programs such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and SPSS from home or while off-campus. The system supports both browser-based and client-based access, offering flexibility and convenience for academic work.
