InSpace

InSpace is a collaborative, browser-based virtual learning platform designed to support student engagement through spatial interaction and immersive meeting experiences tailored specifically for education.

Application Overview

InSpace provides Chaffey College students and faculty with a flexible and interactive online environment for virtual classes, workshops, and events. Users can move around within virtual “spaces” to join breakout groups, participate in informal discussions, or attend lectures, mimicking the experience of an in-person setting.

Users can host lectures, office hours, or seminars, while students can collaborate in real time across designated areas. This promotes engagement, peer-to-peer interaction, and an improved sense of community in hybrid or fully online learning formats.

InSpace is fully browser-based and mobile accessible, and it integrates with popular learning management systems like Canvas, making it easy to incorporate into existing course structures.
